This year’s route takes place on wide roads with very few corners, but two climbs could expose potential weaknesses in the field. The first is just 750m long at 8% while the second one features a more gradual 4-5% drag. Crosswinds could also prove a factor along the exposed sections of road, and this fast course should suit the most powerful teams rather than the usual stage race specialists.
