I agree with you Brekkie. Totally Saturday was a good idea but terribly put together. It was just too muddled and random. Norton carried it off though. Without him it would have been even worse!
But your points about SCD and the humour are spot on. It is primarily a warm, friendly show. Tess and Claudia will maintain that element perfectly. Claudia will do the humour with her quirky style (which I like) and Tess will do the main presenting which she is perfectly capable of. Len will still be there with his off the cuff comments so the very elements of what makes the show popular will still be there.
And, if Claudia has landed the role, bravo to the BBC for finally realising that having two women front a massive show is just as good (if not better) as a male/female line up.
