Well Casualty was actually up a bit on last week so who knows. Regardless I think its very funny. All the numbers are low though so its not going to do much I suppose.

I like Rob Brydon yet for some strange reason it's not working for me. I never liked Blankety Blank either.

Its more than that. Theres just no loyalty on the channel. Not even 40% of BGT's viewers stuck with Amazing Greys. I know you want BGT at 8pm but that makes it more difficult for a family gameshow to rate well without the BGT lead-in if airing at 7pm and also 9pm is too late. Thats why Itv aired BGT at 7pm so that Greys got a plum slot. If Itv revert BGT back to 8pm, they'll just end up in the same position as the last 7 years- BGT going well but no show around it having any chance of doing well.

Look at Sharongate. That storyline was set in motion the day Grant and Phil arrived in 1990. It was 1994 before it reached its climax.”

And when are they going to reveal it wasn't actually Nick Cotton they buried the other week ?

Because most people aren't loyal to a TV channel. They don't watch crap TV if they don't like crap TV. I don't understand who watches television programmes based on what channel they air on?

I watched BGT, turned off because I watched 20 minutes of Amazing Grays last week and found it shocking. Why would I watch it this week out of 'loyalty' to ITV

It was a low rating with a great share. Almost Half the viewing public were watching it. If it was BBC you would be telling everybody what a huge success those figures are

Episode 2 of Amazing Greys couldve been better,. But because theres a lack of loyalty on the channel, lots of people wont have tuned in to find out. Funny how badly Amazing greys is doing, I bet The Guess List almost beat it yesterday even though it had a worse slot and less than half its lead-in.

Not sure the Tommy Copper drama will get high ratings tomorrow as it is proving to be very controversial

It's a game show, the format is always the same. Are you predicting that The Guess List went up this week?

I only saw a trailer for it last night, it looks quite good from what I've seen. Maybe the controversial-ness will pull in a few people though

Interesting thing is that Amazing Greys was a flop in Holland, where it originated. And in Germany it aired for one episode and hasnt come back since. So I wonder why Itv bought this format even though it has failed in every territory so far? Was it because it is such a cheap format? Itv dont air expensive shows to complement their big shows like BGT or TXF, they dont have much money for the rest of Saturday primetime, hence the Law and Order repeats.

Im predicting The Guess List had a better week on week retention than Amazing Greys and closed the gap.

Are you predicting it goes up or down? I mean if it goes down, that means people aren't loyal to the BBC 😵

About the same, maybe a smidgeon up or down but nothing noteworthy. The loyalty is much better on BBC1, as well as the fact it is a decent show, so it wont have dropped anywhere near as much as Greys.

GAH. Why is MOTD not on iPlayer yet?

Frustrated Liverpool fan here.

I'm not saying it will, just wanted to be able to predict your response if it comes in lower than last week, which means people aren't loyal to the brand BBC, and you will of course not use that as a reason.

Rights issues. Available after midnight on Monday. That's why I record it on BBC1.

Torturous.

Why didn't I just set the morning repeat to record. That was too simple wasn't it !

That is slighty disappointing. However stil a respectable figure. Question is now though will it rise or fall again.

General feeling in the BGT thread last night it was a very boring Episode.

ITV got exactly what they deserved after the ludicrous scheduling. Britain's Got Talent was on far too early and the peak shows that. Despite the schedules being out I'd be tempted to switch the programmes around for next week and abandon Amazing Greys as a lost cause.

Casualty did alright if unspectacularly.

However I think BBC1 would like that, the Guess list will swap to. 6.50pm just before BGT with Pointless at 7.30.

The BBC has been very strong in the 7pm slot with SCD and The Voice ITV want 7pm back and to themselves even if BGT gets more viewers later.

Sunny evening, 7pm start. No surprise BGT was down. Would be better at 8pm. Not much of a halo effect to the evening on ITV with it though.

I don't think they could put The Guess List on before 9.

So refreshing to hear from someone who thinks like me - this loyalty to a TV channel astounds me. If a programme is rubbish I turn over to something else.

You did even better than me - I watched 10 mins of Amazing Greys last week and it was utter crud. I'm surprised it managed to rate as high last night.

What's the importance of 7pm at this time of year? Yes, in the autumn/winter it's the optimum slot but in the spring/summer it's far too early.

I have found both episode very underwhelming. Too many foreigners auditioning too.
