Just read that her name is Conchita Wurst...you couldn't make it up.

BBC News reporting on Gary Barlow's tax dodging activities.

If only this had come out a bit earlier, BBC One might have served up something decent on Bank Holiday Monday instead of the nauseating love in they went with.

Love you too, buddy.

Seriously, how's things? Don't be that guy that just pops in occasionally to say something disapproving. We've already got too many of those.

It will affect the ratings too. Because uk viewers wouldve seen we were hardly picking up votes, the audience wont have built to a big peak by the end compared to if she was picking up a lot of votes.”

ok I am one of those people who said Molly would do well, and yeah its disappointing, it IS a good song, ok she would not have won this year, but she should have done a hell of a lot better than she did.

Its a wonder why we bother sometimes, we get nothing from it, whatever we do.

The renewal is a surprise, I'm guessing CBS will use it as a midseason replacement, I notice that both Cold Case and Without a Trace also both ended after 7 seasons so maybe Warner Bros were able to reduce their licensing fee to get a renewal. I do agree this will likely be the last season.

Eurovision, and the winner. Seriously - we gave the winner 12 points tonight. In fact it's the third year in a row the UK has given 12 points to the eventual winner. That should tell you something.

I don't mean to be disapproving! I still lurk from time to time, I just don't always feel the need to contribute to the discussion. It's hard to keep up most of the time and life has been getting in the way recently.

Well said AgentF.

Samuel you do realise barely anyone watches Eurovision for the British entry, it's more the farcical over the top production, eccentricities and pee taking

If it stays part of an overall Sky subscription that's great. But if it becomes a subscription channel within that then it will have problems.

Fair enough. I should take a leaf out of your book and be more of a lurker, I'm too opinionated at times. But good to hear from you, we've missed your contributions.

Is this Encore we're talking about ? If so it's going to be a basic Sky channel. I can't see it being viable otherwise.

Dont think that was ever a suggestion really because even they can see that nobody would pay for it seperately.

Thanks for clearing that up. When they said ITV Encore was a subscription channel I thought it would be like some subscription channels on Sky, it is in fact part of the Sky package.

I think we need a jokey Eurovision act. Something like this:

I really hope the chest writing isn't a tattoo.

could the BBC get the rights to Ru Pauls Drag Queen Race, and use it to find "Son of Lily Savage" and send her to Eurovision, Paul O Grady will also judge.

That is pretty much a given for as long as the BBC remains a member of the European Broadcasting Union.
