I'll be interested to see what strategy they take, too serious and they fall into Splash territory (Gabby Logan was so wrong for that show) take it too much of a joke and it might fall flat on its face (Literally) Its a real unknown and I'd like it to do well

I'm still a little confused by the assumption that Louis Smith and Beth Tweddle are involved in the show

(whenever it gets off the ground that is...). The press release (
http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/lat...nt-commissions) says
Quote:
“With the full backing of British Gymnastics, the trainers who helped take Louis Smith and Beth Tweddle to Olympic glory are ready to turn the nation’s pop stars, actors, newsreaders and chefs into heroes of the high bars and titans of the tumble track”
So Beth & Louis's trainers are involved - it never actually mentioned the gymnasts themselves. Beth & Louis do work on the BBC gymnastics coverage so it's possible they're going to be involved but with Louis having come back out of retirement then if it airs this year he's probably going to be a bit busy...
