Probably will be ready for Early 2015, so January/February.
I'm hoping ITV use this as a 6pm type programme to lead into the bigger LE shows. They've ordered 26, 30minute episodes A Thunderbirds reboot will be interesting to watch, ITV can't get any worse than the film, I'm hoping its a success so we could see maybe other Gerry Anderson series introduced as part of a shared universe. |

In January/February, it would air against FA Cup Football or Six Nations Rugby every week. As it is a very kids oriented show, this most likely will not get a mainstream audience and will struggle in the ratings against BBC1's popular sports coverage.

I imagine it'll air on CITV first with a primetime repeat on ITV, they'll probably split the 26 episodes into two 13 episode series

It might be kids orientated but then so is Doctor Who in many ways, but that transfers very well as a family drama. If all goes well it become ITV's answer to Doctor Who.

Certainly agree there, as a childhood fan of the series the film was unfathomably poor and a huge let down imo. With the right budget and special effects the Thunderbirds brand could have been a worldwide hit and returnable blockbuster. Instead it was like a made for tv effort which I doubt many will remember at all.
I think CG with real sets was probably the best option as puppets wouldn't really cut it especially since ITV want to sell it worldwide and live action is too expensive. |

ITV has unveiled a little teaser of 'Thundebirds are Go!' set to premiere on ITV and CITV in 2015

Yes I was thinking that myself- but Doctor Who has 45 minute slots and kind of feels like substantial entertainment-if they are 30 minute slots for Thunderbirds then presumably that's only about 24 minutes of actual action on ITV -somehow I cant see that having the same kind of impact.

The film had some good elements like the designs of the vehicles and the casting of Lady Penelope and Parker but the rest was poor

Susannah Reid on the front page of the Mirror and The Sun talking about how devastated she was by her recent "love split".
Using a marriage break-up to get publicity for your new series, eh? Very classy. |

Without disrespecting the legend of Mr Forsyth. Yeah the ratings will go up on "Strictly Come Dancing" hes left at the best time when 'The X Factor" is rejuvinating itself and could very likely to be a ratings giant again with the "C Factor" Cowell and Cole.
Im sure many millions dont watch because of Bruce or indeed stopped watching overnight in order to fast forward him. I cant wait to see the series presented properly and his sideshow removed from a well thought out entertaintment show. |

Doesn't airing on CITV and ITV1, possibly just mean it'll air in the simulcast slot before 9:25?
If it is going to be on in prime time, I could see it no later than 5:30pm |

So what? She is not posing half naked and is not giving major details of her personal life. She didn't want to disclose details of her marriage breakdown. The media did that for her. She is just saying that it was nothing to do with Strictly. Susannah seems like a lovely classy woman to me

I think it was actually her former partner who revealed the breakdown of the relationship by putting himself on a dating web site (they weren't actually married). You can't blame the press for picking up on the story.

Until we see the other soap figures difficult to put the EE rating in context although certainly higher than usual Fridays (it was 6.4m last week) still the usual Friday drop.

That rating for Masterchef suggests the 2nd Corrie will be below 7million. |
