I have ended up with Overplay smart DNS (very good so far) as Tunnelbear VPN had become unusable, couldn't even load a web page with it. No idea why.

Got a Zattoo HiQ sub just now but as the page loads I see the BBC/ITV HD channels on the left hand panel but when it finally loads they disappear.

I stuck Overplay in the router and it is working great. I deleted my Roku account, reset the box, did a new account and re-sync'd the box with my PC etc. Bingo. Got the iPlayer, C4od etc. Netflix still says not available in your area for some reason but not too shabby...thanks for your help. I should do a dummies guide.

As you live in France, and using the Roku 3. The issue you have is caused by the recent Roku update, where the Roku is using Googles DNS to access Netflix, hence why it's saying "Not available in your area"
It's a widespread issue, and to get around it you need to apply a static route to your router to block Googles DNS of 8.8.8.8

Overplay should be able able to give you further advise on this, as I suspect every Roku 3 user has been in touch with them since this happened.
