In All About Soap Luisa said that Annette is off doing another job and that they really miss her but talk about her all the time.
I assume this is Wizards vs Aliens and that Annette will come back as a regular once she has finished there. She will definitely be involved in the Shirley/Mick plot, so I can see her being a full time character by christmas, especially with all the foreshadowing of Sylvie and the possibility of Mick's dad turning up.

Oh I completely agree. I think they should of said she was to be a guest until other filming commitments were completed. I was expecting to see her come in full time at around the same time as Stan. They also left the Sylvie cliffhanger and I really warmed to Babe. Its very frustrating.
