Why does he still exist? One of the most pointless characters in all of soap. Emma has let me down big time. She was supposed to make his life a living hell, not spend her every waking moment pathetically pining over him.
I know, she is sooooo pathetic. Beyond belief.

James is much more bearable these days.

I hope Emma gets her revenge on him & Moira though. Sweet, sweet revenge.

*ducks and hides*
That's fine you can have a different opinion. Ohhh sam!

This threads longevity and evolution is a wonderful synergy of The Joy of pats creativity and digital spy eccentricity! A rare feat to be treasured! 😘
Thanks Hilda I'm going to copy and frame this comment to look at when I feel sad. That's the nicest thing

stop, I'm blushing but if you want to say more, then it's a free country

Flower of Scotland

Love that anthem
I only really appreciated it when I lived in Thailand and heard it when me and the only other Scottish person in a 20 miles radius put on a Robert Burns day for the kids at our school, it brought a tear to my eye but you can't show emotions like that in the land of smiles. OMG, a country James would do well in...see how easy it is for me to swing it back round?

I am so glad to see this thread again

Just the other day he was doing that picking nails thing, thankfully his hands were out of shot (no doubt on purpose) but I could still see it! Just below the edge of the TV he was picking his sodding fingernails.

Sorry James, please die.

I must have missed this thread first time round but I have to say I agree with everything that's been said ( except the ' he's improved a bit ' ones! ). He really is one of the worst actors in soapland. Emma has been a big disappointment so far and certainly hasn't lived up to the promise. It looks like she's going to concentrate her efforts on Moira involving Charity somehow.

Welcome to the thread

I completely agree with you, after saying he has improved that statement was quickly knocked by last week performance where he was the weakest link throughout, along with Emma who is equally annoying. Yes, I can see Emma helping Charity to win Cain back when she gets out and it will probably all get out of control and result in one of her sons death, or James. I don't know why ED don't do the right thing and either get rid of him or just make him Charlie Stubbs 2.0, it would at least make him 10%...or 5% more interesting.

That would be one scary confrontation Entertaining though as for 'Flower of Scotland' - brings a lump to the throat every time. I once went to see REM when they played Stirling Castle and the whole crowd out of nowhere burst into Flower of Scotland. It shut Michael Stipe up and it was more entertaining than the rest if the concert

And um James and the other Bartons should be sent homewards tae think again....(sorry it's the best link I could think of). Well, Finn can stay, but Kate Oates should channel the spirit of Robert the Bruce and send the rest packing They can take A dumb too.

James hasn't been quite as bad lately. When he started he would get right in people's faces. He had no sense of personal space at all. Now he doesn't do it as much. I hope that since they all thought Ross was dead that James appreciates his son more. I do like the Bartons but I find Pete a bit boring even though he nearly killed Ross. It's inevitable that Debbie and Ross will sneak around behind everyone's backs even though Debbie told Cain to stop her if she went near him. I think this time if Cain threatens Ross James will step in. Not that bare knuckle fighting Ross should need help against Cain from James.

I still think he's utterly pointless. As is Emma. Either turn her full blown psycho/bitch or get rid.

God yes, me too!
Thankfully they tend to cut it out from view of the camera lately but I still know he's doing it and it makes me so angry.

Ewww, is that Jermaine?

She can get revenge on whoever she likes, far as I'm concerned. Except Moira, that's beyond the pale.

Id like to thank everyone's unappreciation as I think we can all safely say that we are the reason this new storyline is going ahead, if you don't know what it is go find it you lazy bast*rd.
