well, he might not get another contract? I hate to wish for someone to be out of job, as that's what I'm sort of saying but he's ruining the show for me...the character, that is.

Never having watched Corrie I had absolutely no idea who he was (don't watch HO either so his sons are also a mystery) and to be honest I could have gone the rest of my life never knowing who he was.

He's that cardinal TV sin, a mortally dull "baddie", a psychopath with no charm and no subtlety. And no storyline outside of this one.

Maybe he would be a bit more acceptable if we got past this creeper obsession with Moira and he moved out. A bit. He's not quite so wildly irritating as Ross and Finn's Dad. I'm a heck of a lot more interested in why Ross hates him and ran off for years, than I am in him velcroing himself to the inside of Moira's bra. No idea why they didn't explore the Ross stuff instead.

But I'm trying to be kind. It ain't working. Ross can kill him if Cain doesn't.

Well Kate Oates seems to think the Barton's have settled in well so I doubt he will be leaving anytime soon.

Chas should have dumped him when he gave her that perfume that brought her out in hives.

I like Kate so no disrespect to her but I'm genuinely interested as to where this positive feedback is coming from, it's the same on the FB page as it is on DS and on twitter. Maybe she said that because others, such as focus groups, have praised them, maybe it was damage limitations or maybe it down the old 'there no such thing as bad publicity'? IDK. I just really think he has a self life as well, at least I hope so.

The constant swaggering about like a Wild West sheriff, his lack of understanding for peoples' personal space, the over-exaggerated way in which he 'delivers' his lines, his thing for Moira, which is in no way romantic OR reciprocated... Cain just go rogue again and do him in before we all smash our TVs in!

Though it's like Blackburn saying everyone loved the Spencer's now I don't know anyone who loves the Spencer's and I assume Kate has to say this because it's down to her she picked them and she doesn't want to see them fail. Though I don't think James or his son's will still be here this time next year.

I will be surprised if James & Pete are still on in a years time. I could see Finn & Ross staying though.

Finn will have have been ruined by Aaron by then so he will either be dead or something else.

Not sure about Ross , but Pete and James have to go ASAP.

At least now that we know that they didn't have some torrid affair I guess it's easier to understand why there isn't any apparent chemistry between them.

According to his latest interview, Bill Ward said that his one nighter with Moira was the highlight of his life and that's why he can't let it go
