The sound of Bianca and Kat's judgmental, hellish cackling, typically following some judgmental, bitchy comment. That shared laugh is just hideous.

Any of the borderline sociopathic soap-opera-obnoxious complaining/whining from the current corrie cast of irritants does it for me, to be honest. Such a lack of warmth and palpable human connection amongst the current crop, it all grates on me given time.

The only thing that's missing is the cauldron.

Imagine listening to a combination of Bianca shouting, Fiz whining and Sawphie screeching on a continuous loop... I may have just invented the most effective form of torture known to man.

Add a visual of Kat from EE crying in her usual self-pitying manner to that loop and you may have something there.

Certainly a candidate - I also can not stand their cackling and find the idea that it is meant to be endearing even more disturbing. I wouldn't mind if they were just out at the Pub, having a laugh and enjoying themselves harmlessly (like Sharon / Michelle, Mel / Lisa) but their mirth is invariably at somebody else's expense - Lister, Tamwar, Roxy.

Fiz's whine also headache inducing and increasingly Tina's "But Peter...".

Insert the odd 'I lurve ya Babe' courtesy of Max Branning!

Michelle in Corrie's nasal twang sends chills down my spine. Ditto re Fiz's stupid Baby voice.

Kat and Bianca cackling the other night was hell.

Yes. In fact any audible sounds from Fiz. The worst is breathing.

'Get out of ma pub. No one messes with ma fam-er-lee.'

Sophie Webster from Corrie in full screech mode
If Fiz and Sophie were ever in a screen together, my eardrums would explode.

Chas from Emmerdale cackling. Actually not just when she`s cackling - everytime she talks.Especially when she adds an 'uh' at the end of every sentence
Whenever she screeches no-uh I`m expecting Charitys brat to say..."did you want me for something Aunty Chas"?

Bianca and Kat laughing together is exactly the thing that came to my mind when I read this thread. They're just vile bullies when they're together, I never understand why they're written that way when we're meant to find them likeable!

Although I'm quite fond of both characters, I find the actual sound of Roxy and Ronnie Mitchell bickering a very unpleasant sound. That and Aleks Shirov's third rate Bond henchman accent and Tamwar's whacky, monotonous answers and perplexed noises. I used to hate it when Libby Fox called Patrick 'Pops' all the time in a very weird way, like she wanted to remind us of the fact it was a nickname every time she said it. Abi Branning's nasally sighs. Alfie Moon in general. Obvious one, but a hysterical Bianca of any reaction goes right through me.

Deidre's deep voice on Coronation Street is as ghastly as her belts. She sounds like she smokes 40 a day.
