Looking for some suggestions for some good eggless cake (chocolate or sponge) recipes. With a good frosting on top recipe.

I'm good with baking eggs but it's a close friends birthday this week (who's a vegetarian) so I wanted to bake a cake for her but coming up short on ideas.

Is your friend a vegan or a vegetarian? Vegetarians generally eat eggs.

I would say she's a vegan, but she eats cheese milk and yoghurt. But I know she definitely doesn't eat eggs!

Ordering one would probably be easier, but I love to bake and thought of trying something new.

What about making some vegan chocolate brownies? There are lots of recipes on the net using oil instead of eggs and butter, so they'll be extra gooey in the middle.
