Bored with my collection, suggest something new?

So I've got a reasonable collection of music but I'm quite bored and haven't really looked into anything new for quite some time.

I'm pretty easy, I like quite a few genres. Back in the day, oasis, pulp, Ash etc.

Like trance, like van dyk, armin etc.

Electronica like leftfield, future sound of London, prodigy, chemical Bros, aphex twin.

Ambient is good, biosphere, shpongle, Steve roach etc.

Love some of the 80s electric music.

Don't shy away from some rock either, not my first choice but enjoy it now and again. Rammstein, NiN, Marilyn manson etc.

Music experts of DS, fire away and suggest me some new music....

I'm right now listening to Marina & The Diamonds her debut is sort of wonky pop whilst her second album 'Electra Heart' is a concept album based on different archetypes of America all tied into the one character more pure pop though.

Lyke Li is very good she is Swedish sort of Dreampop also try Bat for Lashes along the same lines.

Try the soundtrack of '20 Feet from Stardom' and hear some real singers like Merry Clayton, Lisa Fischer, Darlene Love or Judith Hill.

Check out Merry and Lisa's solo albums too.

Was just about to come on and say Marina

Definitely try her debut album if you haven't - it is my favourite album ever, every track is fantastic.

Also sort of thematically linked Lana Del Rey both Born To die and Paradise.

Maybe if the like Marina too Ellie Goulding (minus the two covers fantastic), Florence + the Machine definitely Ceremonials.

If you like any soul music and country music, my most favorite singer James Otto puts them two formats together.

God bless you and him always!!!

It sounds like you're another person in need of my new releases' playlist. OP. A weekly selection of just some of the best tunes around at the moment:

www.spoti.fi/OQ15nN

I've just updated it with this week's tracks. So no suggestions for you - I'll let you make your own mind up - but at 8 hours in length you're bound to find something you like on there.

How about some old skool German tunes?

I only half jest - that is a def track. It was just sung by some pretty dodgy blokes.
