So the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A Special Edition has been launched for the Korean market giving you faster connectivity, a higher resolution display and a faster processor. The main feature here is the LTE-A connectivity which at 255Mbps is nearly three times faster than standard LTE. LTE-A is currently only available in a handful of countries however.

BUT you now have a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a QHD screen, Snapdragon 805 SoC processor which features four Krait 450 CPU cores clocked at 2.5GHz along with the Adreno 420 GPU and not forgetting 3GB of RAM. Gone is the back's perforated look and replaced with a diamond-like textured back.

This isn't the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime or F but i wonder if Europe will get something similar when the Prime/F edition gets released. Those are top class specs.

Assuming it is not the Galaxy F, I'm guessing we get a launch in September, maybe as the metal clad Galaxy F. It could be nicknamed F for 'failed call' then, considering it will have more dropped calls.

That resolution is over 5 times that of the iPhone so, in there was a brain in their marketing, they would set multi-screen to do 4 or 5 apps at once.

On the subject of 'Premium' I wonder if the Amazon Fire phone screen is the premium-est, in quality, like what they do with the Fire HDX tablet.

If it does get a September launch, then it may get revealed at the IFA event in Berlin, along with the heavily rumored Note 4.

I see no reason to believe that this phone will be released beyond Korea. Last years I9506 was not and didn't spark all these comments off either.

Samsung have announced this new version won't be released outside of Korea so makes you wonder if the Prime/F will materialise or not. Guess they could release it alongside the Note 4.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if the Prime / F or other variant will materialise in the near future. All you have to do is look at the S4, when suddenly they released the S4 Zoom & other versions of the S4.
