Old Song Help
I've been humming a song recently and can't find what it is !
It's a real oldie, possibly 1930s?.......and I think it might have been used as a theme song for a TV show The words I have in mind are 'Now that you're gone' but putting that into google & youtube brings up a more recent but different song...... ![]() This is what I have to go on...... Now that you're gone dee, dee, dee Dee, dee, dee, deeeee dee, dee dee Dee, dee, dee, dee Do, do, do...... do, doooo dee, dee, dee........doo, doo, doo, doo.......dee, dee, doo, doodley do can anyone get it from that ?

Found it !
It's called 'After You're Gone' written 1918........ ![]() It was used as the theme song for a short lived Nicholas Lyndhurst sit-com here's one of hundreds of versions.......loads of people have recorded it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDBpdCuDmxs the chorus starts at about 48 seconds........that's my dee, dees ! |

It could also have been "Band of Gold" by Freda Payne -
"Since you've been gone dee dee dee dee dee dee dee dee..." But it isn't. Can any one help me with this one? "Darling dee dee dee dee dee dee dee..." |
