All of the older characters seem to be doing much better this time round. It's interesting. I do think the 'Christian/Syed' fans who were around 3 years ago had a huge colouring on the results of the last tournament. There was a big audience on the site, and they were, generally, a younger fan base - although not all of them. I think their votes pushed through a lot more 'modern-era' characters that haven't made it into the top stages this time round.

I almost included Den, but turning him into a sexual predator in his second stint tainted his image. Shame he returned.

The Dennis reveal has been pitiful. Imagine if all EE secrets were treated this way:

I agree. Perhaps the greatness of Ange is that she always left us wanting more.

That was really difficult, I had to exclude the likes of Pat Butcher from the list who I really liked but couldn't justify kicking the four I have out. There's no Watts love for me because as somebody who only maybe started watching Eastenders in 2002 when I was quite young I never got behind them as much as some longer viewers might. I liked Sharon and Den in what I seen but Den was murdered not too long into returning and since Sharon's came back I've found her unlikeable, Friday's episode was really the first time I found myself feeling for her since she returned, I'd love to see more of that Sharon in upcoming weeks

True; which is why I said just ONE watts not all of them!!
But let's call a spade a spade: EE greatest moments involve a watts; they are also the ONLY common denominator for the show's 3 golden periods (except Ian who doesn't count as he was barely involved in the first).
Just saying it like it is (is that how that expression is worded?????)

I definately think bk, the one who got dean to agree to return, had a much better plan for Sharon. I just can't see dean agreeing to return with the crap Newman had planned. I mean she eventually came out and all but said she hopes Sharon gets her mojo back: and dean had never done anything like that before. She must have been silently relived when Newman was sacked.
