Best / Worst EastEnders Moments...
Hi Guys, Sorry if there has been a thread similar to this but I hardly ever come on and when I do it's cause something has got me abit too overexcited (Who the bloody hell killed Lucy? LOL). Anyway what is your favourtie EE moment of all time and what is, in your opinion the worst?
BEST: Ronnie and Danielle reveal. (Sharongate was a close second!) I can remember my jaw dropping at this when Ronnie found out and Danielle died. My jaw was literally on the floor for a week. WORST: When Pat died, why oh why did they kill her off? I miss her ear-rings! Last edited by nickyyyboy : 26-04-2014 at 23:07. Reason: title edit |

BEST: there are so many, but I remember seeing Angie's roar of 'how am I gonna STAND IT!!!!' during the two hander with Den and I couldn't believe what was going on. I also thought Patsy Palmer was unbelievable in the paedophile storyline, but she gets knocked to bits on here.
WORST: any awful, humiliating nonsense that the story team have made Adam Woodyatt act out over the years. It is an insult to treat a senior cast member in such a demeaning way, especially as it never furthers along the story. Can you imagine the Corrie lot dunking Eileen Debyshire in some makeshift prop gunge on a monthly basis? Having Ian kiss Steve McFadden's shoes was the lowest point the story team have sunk to when you factor in the commitment Adam Woodyatt has shown to the programme over the years. |

For me:
''You Ain't My Muvver'' ''Yes I Am'' and the proceeding episodes. I was 10 or 11 at the time and it was like whaaaa!!!. Before that Saskia and the ashtray. Worst: The whole 04-06 period in Eastenders dire just dire. |

My faves: Sharon returns 2001, Den returns 2003. Kat/Zoe. Trev/Mo. Den/Ange. Worst: Character assassination of Kat and Sharon in recent years. |

Best : When Shirley said "Meet my brother" (or words to that effect) when Mick Carter took over the Vic.
Worst. When Sharon reappeared on the Square and turned up at Phil's. |

There are too many best moments to choose from but anything with Chrissie Watts or Michael Moon is usually pure gold. The Worst moment was the reincarnation of the football team when they discovered Ray was playing for another team. They were all taking it so seriously. I have seen people less angry at their partner having an affair. |

...also another favourite was Janine's face when she met the lottery winner just before her recent exit. Pure TV gold.

I'll keep my list simple and just say anything with a watts in it. Sharon, den, Angie, Chrissie and Dennis have provided most of EE "best moments".
Worst - ill limit myself to EE 2006-present (unfortunately 90% of EE worst moments have happened in this time so am not really helping myself). anything with a Mitchell or a moon or Shirley would cover most of EE worst moments post 06. Although the singular worst moment maybe what was done to Pauline fowler. |

BEST: Pat stopping Janine's wedding 'She's about as Jewish as a bacon sandwich' also Frank Butcher turning up on Pat's doorstep in nothing but a revolving bow tie with a big daft grin on his dial.
![]() WORST: The ridiculous explosion in the cafe involving Nick Cotton. |

The best moments of Den's return both involved Philth for me.
When they first met in the Vic and Den treated him with the utter contempt he deserved and then the magical moment when Philth realised he had been set up in the robbery. What a shame TPTB ruined it afterwards with the preposterous later scenes of Den and Dennis being 'threatened' by Philth with a broken arm. Some of the worst moments have been the embarassing shit poor Adam has been given over the years. And Ian having to kiss Philth's feet really made my stomach turn.

WORST: Baby Swap (need I say more), Who Shagged Kat, assassination of Kat under Bryan Kirkwood, Peggy Leaving, Pat dying, Bianca sent to prison twice, 2013, Fairground Disaster, Lynne losing her baby & having a hysterectomy, Pauline 2006, Sonia & Naomi, Miller House Fire 2007. |

BEST: The Kat/ Zoe reveal, but one particular part that sticks out is Kat walking through the square at night and after confronting Harry, she sits on the swing and smears lipstick on like a child would and then breaks down sobbing.
Such great acting. The entire episode of Billie Jackson's death was superb too, I must have watched it through atleast 5 times now. WORST: Nick 'holding up' the cafe with the leg of a wooden stool Awful in every way... from everyone taking him seriously, 'Hero' Bradley and then the random explosion. It was pathetic. The Moon's, except Nana... and Alfie sometimes. Anything with Minty, Heather, Garry, Dawn etc, worst years ever. |

I never liked the Chyred storyline. While it was different to other coming out stories, i just didn't like it because of the awful acting between Syed and Christian, therefore i couldn't root or want them both to be accepted and be happy. Their exit was crap as well.
Billy's death was done brilliantly. It was so heartbreaking. Done so beautiful. It was from there when Lindsey Coulson became my fav actress on EE. The affair that followed on with Billy's mate at first seemed a bit like wtf but it proved to be brilliant as well, as well as the unsuprising turn that led to Patsy Palmer's temporary departure. |

I know EE doesn't really do humour, but the episode when they went to Spain and discovered Sam Mitchell working in a dodgy club has to be up there. The funniest episode ever!
