John Scott Martin lived less than 20 miles away from me but he was actually born in Toxteth, Liverpool. Liverpool is where Samantha Briggs came from in The Faceless Ones.

Samantha Briggs is played by Pauline Collins who was in Tooth and Claw. The Tenth Doctor mentioned the name Jamie McCrimmon in this.

Forget my last comment. DS people, please could you completely remove my last comment, please? Unfortunately, I cannot change it because it has been too long since I last posted. I've thought of a much better one. Everyone use this to follow on from please.

Samantha Briggs is played by Pauline Collins, who was in Upstairs Downstairs, as was Simon Williams who was in Remembrance of the Daleks.

Thank you!

Simon Williams once appeared in Bergerac which not only featured Terrance Alexander of The Mark Of The Rani fame but Louise 'Leela' Jameson as well.

I don't think anyone is interested in this now, so I'll put another connection in to start things going again.

Both Leslie Schofield and Brian Croucher have been in Blake's 7, as has Jaqueline Pearce, who played Servalan.

Jacqueline Pearce starred with Laurence Payne(Dastari) in The Two Doctors. Payne also played Johnny Ringo in The Gunfighters, originally a part that Patrick Troughton was considered for. Troughton played opposite Leslie Schofield in The War Games, which also starred David Garfield, who starred with Schofield in The Face Of Evil. And off course he also did a scene with Troughton's son David.

P.S, just seen Lady Of Traken's post but it still fits in quite nicely!

Peter Davison has a daughter called Georgia Moffett, who starred in the Doctor Who story The Doctor's Daughter, alongside David Tennant who is married to her. Also, Peter is David Tennant's father in-law.

How's that for a connection, eh?

Jenna was in the Yorkshire soap-opera Emmerdale, playing Jasmine Thomas, as was Frazer Hines, who played Joe Sugden. Not at the same time, though. Jenna was in the soap between 2005 and 2008, whereas Frazer was in it between 1972 and 1994.

Patricia Maynard used to be married to Dennis Waterman. Before her, Dennis was married Rula Lenska. She appeared in the DW story Resurection of the Daleks in 1984.

Resurrection of the Daleks was Terry Molloy's debut as Davros. He would also porty Davros in Revelation of the Daleks. In that story, he delivers the line "I created you! I am your master!", a line which was also spoken by the Dalek Sec Hybrid 22 years later in Evolution of the Daleks.

The Dalek Sec Hybrid was played by Eric Loren, who appeared in the 1998 movie, Saving Private Ryan, which was directed by Steven Spielberg. He also directed The Adventures of Tin Tin, in which the storyline was co-written by current "Who" showrunner Steven Moffat!

Hugh Grant appeared in Curse of Fatal Death alongside Julia Sawalha, who has appeared in the BBC comedy series Absolutely Fabulous. Also seen in Ab Fab was June Whitfield, who played Minnie Hooper in the 2009 DW two-parter The End of Time.

Sorry! But I just couldn't resist putting that in, as I had thought of it within seconds of posting the other one.
