Whilst I do love Ronnie in general, sometimes she really riles me and I don't like her. I understand why her character is the way she is. She can be really cruel and vicious to a lot of people during her first stint she was especially. I can't recall anyone ever telling her where to go or what she was like aside from calling her the ice queen.

Her whole treatment of Kat and Alfie made my blood boil, when he left Roxy and she kicked them out of the vic, considering what she did to them. I know people don't like Kat and Alfie but she was vicious to them, it was Roxy that hurt and she was dealing with it in her way, Ronnie had no right. Old Kat should've come back then and thumped Ronnie in the face.

I'm not stupid i know DTC wants Ronnie to become really dark but I feel uncomfortable with that.

I'm wondering what will happen between Ronnie, Kat and Alfie, will they ever share scenes again or are they forgotten about. Will there be a Tommy and Ronnie scene? I do hope we get ronnie letting her guard down again and not be so borderline evil. If she is I hope there are characters that actually answer back to her for once.

I agree with your points OP and have been thinking them for a couple of months too. I know people didn't like the tragic Ronnie but I think that's what made the character. At the beginning of the current stint, she seemed really guilty and remorseful for her actions towards Kat and Alfie, and it was a great way to redeem her character. But then being mean to them just didn't feel right.

I also don't like this "evil" path that DTC is taking her in. I don't like her being a murderer who is obsessed with "my sistaaaa". I want her to be protective but still have fun and interact with others more. I hope she can fix things with Kat and be a nicer character.

Totally agree, I would love two hander between her and Kat or her and someone else where it all comes out.

Prison has hardened her, but she's still not evil to the core and has a soft side still as proven with Lola recently. Shes a complex character, I don't think she'll forgive Alfie any time soon for what he did to Roxy and I don't think Alfie is over when she took Tommy.

She'd thump Kat straight back and probably floor her, she's a lot taller and bigger built than her for a start. Not to mention the fact that she put her mouthy friend Bianca in her place and probably would have throttled her had Dot not intervened.

The way Kat has violently assaulted people over the years I'd happily see somebody take her down, I don't really care about Ronnie's past or the fact that she killed Carl because she could drown Lady Di's puppies and I'd still root for her!

I doubt to see mo mouse's comments on this. That poster hates Ronnie with a passion! They post as if the character is a real person.

Overall I love Ronnie and want her to become really dark, she's dark now but not as much as DTC made out. It would be nice to see some more scenes with Kat and Alfie though.

Mo Mouse doesn't take it seriously, it's a joke from him lol

I hope Ronnie gets her comeuppance one day in future...

I want them to keep Ronnie’s soft side. Not keen on 100% evil. The complexity and the shades are what make Ronnie a great character. Being outright evil without anything to balance it is boring and 1D.

As for Kat and Alfie, I would be happy not to see them have much to do with Ronnie. It seems pointless to me to bring up the whole swap thing considering that it was such a poorly written storyline and doesn’t necessary serve any purpose regarding character development. The tragedy and the losses do but not the swap. Just courteous fleeting scenes between Ronnie and Kalfie will suffice. The less scenes the better.

Ronnie is by far the most interesting character of the three, Kat used to be interesting but hasn't been for some time. The less said about Alfie the better.

I love Alfie because he makes me laugh and he's happiest imo when coupled up with Kat. I like Kat and I think she loves Alfie but not as much as he loves her.

I like Ronnie though, she's had more than her fair share of shit dealt in her life, she's rather possessive with Roxy but she just wants someone to love and care for, a daughter figure and Roxy seems a lot younger. Ronnie was just sticking up for Roxy with the Kat and Alfie stuff, Roxy loved Alfie and I don't think she would ever have done anything to hurt him, unlike Kat and he chucked the marriage away! That was so badly handled by EE.

Can't see why not She did a pretty good job of babysitting Tommy for months, and didn't accept a penny in return.

I think once the initial comeback was over with EE wanted to move on and forget the baby swap ever happened.

Can't blame them. Its like when Den returned. EE didn't even acknowledge that some poor sod = who wasn't Den!! was still buried below Angie in that double grave!

But she snatched Tommy and let Kat and Alfie think he was dead and she should never have done that Kat was heartbroken because she thought she lost Tommy

She stole Tommy and let Kat and Alfie think he died its not something to joke about unless you think Kat and Alfie deserved that to happen to them?

One mans violent manipulative murdering childsnatcher is another mans friendly local babysitter

As you know I don't normally condone criminals on Albert Square, (and I deeply hope that Stacey serves an incredibly long sentence and Kats' is even longer) but I feel I have to make an exception for Ronnie.
