Can a non Talktalk TV customer purchase a Talktalk youview box to use with their Talktalk broadband without affecting their Talktalk contract.

Usage would only be to view the freeview channels, and have access to the rollback guide, the iplayers (bbc iplayer, itv player, 4od, 5demand, milkshake, now tv, etc .... not talktalk player)

You can use it with any broadband as a Freeview+ box with BBC iPlayer, ITV iPlayer, 4od & 5 demand.

i picked my self and my cuz one of these up from cash generator for £30 per box i use mine as a multiroom box with BT and he uses his with TT BB for the same thing you want yours for and all that happened when he plugged it in was a few updates and everything worked fine, the only thing that happened if he hits the talktalk player button is a message saying he dose not have TTTV on his account and dose he want to add it.
