So that was the end of that incarnation for that actor to play Bobby. How old do you think he'll be next time?

Bobby going. Jane going. Denise going. Lucy gone. Cindy gone. Peter moved out. The Weasel will die alone like he deserves.

It was kind of funny the way everyone can't wait to get away from Ian!

He and Jane are back for the funeral aren't they? Then they're both off again until later in the year. The next Bobby will depend on where they want to go with the character, if they're planning on giving him a lot to do then I can see them going for a slightly older actor than the current one.

It's a shame he's leaving as he looks quite like Adam Woodyat. And Lorraine built the Beales back up and now DTC is tearing them apart.

Jane, Bobby and Cindy will be back. The actress just has other work commitments.

I don't think he's tearing them apart at all, he's putting them at the centre of the show. I think what they're going for at the moment is Ian pushing people away, first Cindy then Bobby/Jane, sending him even lower before having him become obsessed with finding out what happened to Lucy, which will ultimately drag Cindy/Bobby/Jane back in as they try to help him. Obviously I don't know what's going to happen but I have a feeling that by the end of the storyline the Beales will be much stronger as a family unit.

Laura, the one who tripped over a toy fell down the stairs and died.

I remember when this bobby first came in and he seemed like quite a capable actor and was trending on twitter - but he really was a bad actor, the other one was better.

Also:

Ian
Jane
Peter
Bobby
Cindy

That's still quite a lot in the Beale family. It is a shame Lucy went but it looks like the risk is paying off. Jane and bobby will be back!

This sums DS up so much. We only appreciate stuff when it's gone.

I still hold out hope Derek Branning is alive.

I have to admit, I loved the end scene of Denise seeing Jane drive off and thinking "oh f**k I'm stuck with him."

I'm actually finding the Denise / Ian dynamic really interesting. Both stuck in a relationship because they don't think there's anyone else for them and continuing to be a couple despite both wanting to end it. I'm not overly sure whether that sort of thing has been done in a soap before.

We appreciated Michael Moon when he was on the show

I thought this Bobby was an improvement on the last one anyway, the last one was nearly always completely silent.

No, actually he won't. After the funeral he won't be returning.

So when Jane returns full time in September Bobby is going to vanish off the face of the earth?

Obviously he'll be back just with a different head.

He really ruined the scenes he was in tonight, especially Ian's breakdown at the dining room table and there's Bobby trying to hold in a grin.

I know he's just a kid, but he was crap. Hopefully the next Bobby will be better!
