Yes Peggy slapped her for abandoning Louise, Lisa claimed in her conversation with Peggy that she left Louise with a neighbour who she'd "thought" would look after her and that she had a breakdown.

Well if she had a breakdown then it hardly ruined her. She was always on the brink of a nervous breakdown especially when she shot Phil.

I'm thinking Lisa might return if the rumours are true about Mel being a suspect in Lucy's killing after her nervous breakdown. After seeing Lucy in the woods and being reminded of Ian it got too much for her.

Very long shot there. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that Mel can be completely dismissed from the list of suspects.

Do tend to agree. That was Kirkwood's genius SL idea for Lisa's return. She deserved better than that - Lisa was a great character with the right stuff and when she wasnt given that - quite simply, she wasnt.
She should really be left in the past - and then people are able to enjoy the memories more.
Considering Steve and Lucy's private life, I couldn't see a return for Lisa being viable.
