Odd network problem
I have a Galaxy Note 2 and i'm having some problems connecting to the internet. I've been working in the same place for 2.5 years and i've been able to connect fine until yesterday when it suddenly stopped working. I can connect via wifi - and it seems to work fine in other locations, so i'm a bit confused.
I have full strength signal on '3'. I've tried a reset and removing the sim card but to no avail. Any thoughts? |

Had a similar problem on 3 recently. For about a month the phone said full bars, 'H' was showing but NO data connection. I rung up 3, they said they fixed a problem. They didnt. I rung them back. They said they could find no problem. After multiple phone calls and pretty much 'denials' of an issue it suddenly came back working perfectly. See if you can find someone else on 3 to confirm its 'them' not you.

Do you have a 3G symbol in the corner to show you have data connection? There could be a problem with the cell site, and you may be on 2G backup. Either that, or you have accidentally turned mobile data off in the settings?
It can't be a problem with the settings as this problem is only occurring at work. Is it possible that the local transmitter could be down for that length of time? |

I have the 'H+' symbol and the arrows which usually show data transfer are flashing, however it's not actually working.
