Please don't read on if you haven't read the supposed leak on Lucy Beales murderer.

I really like the idea of a serial killer storyline in Eastenders but I don't believe Les Coker will be the serial killer. I think Nick and Charlie Cotton are forcing Les to take part in their twisted scheme of murdering people to make money out of their funerals. I think Nick targets Walford as he knows about the big families and bigger the family the bigger the funeral will be and thus so will the funeral costs. Nick fakes his own death to get out of the picture as a potential suspect and as he knows Dot would have paid the funeral. Charlie is sent into the square to get inside knowledge of the families Nick wants to target. His fist target is the Beales as they are the squares biggest family, plus nick hates ian. Charlie supplies Lucy with drugs and discovers she is the most vulnerable therefore they choose to murder her.

Nick next plots to murder a Mitchell, which is why Charlie is attempting to grow close to Ronnie, so he can find out more about the family. Charlie notices Ronnie's mother like relationship with Roxy and thus targets her. Some time in the summer Nick returns to carry out Roxys murder as she has dinner in Aleks flat. However things go wrong when Jake unexpectedly returns to his flat and nick knocks him down the stairs staging the death as a suicide. The death once again shocks the square.

As Ronnie and Charlie's relationship continues Ronnie confides in charlie about murdering Carl. Realising he can potentially frame Ronnie Charlie alerts nick and plans to frame Ronnie in the next murder, which occurs at Halloween. This time the Butchers are targeted and Nick murders Nikki in Ronnie and Roxys Halloween house party by dressing up and hiding his identity. The murder terrifies Bianca and Terry who decide to leave the square and take Tiffany, Rosie and Morgan with them. Tj and Liam stay behind for Cindy and her child.

In the run up to Christmas Charlie begins to build evidence to frame Ronnie for the murders. On Christmas Eve Ronnie spots nick visit charlie but stays quiet until Christmas Day where she reveals to the Vic about Nick. However Charlie puts his plan into action and successfully makes Ronnie look crazed, by revealing her murder of Carl and making it look as if she murdered Lucy, jake and Nikki. Police arrive and arrest Ronnie. However Ian and a Roxy suspect foul play and believe Ronnie. On New Year's Eve they persuade Sharon and phil to visit Nicks grave where they discover the body in the coffin is not his. On New Year's Day the four visit charlie in dots home and a deadly confrontation occurs when Nick returns. Ian shoots Charlie killing him instantly whilst Nick is imprisoned. Ronnie is freed from prison and puts the murder of Carl on Charlie and nick. Ian escapes prison by putting the blame of Charlie's death on self defence.

In court nick reveals all about the scheme and reveals Les's involvement leading to his arrest. In the run up to the anniversary nick manages to escape the police and returns to the square in February where he holds the Vic hostage and sets a fire. Everyone escapes apart from nick who perishes. Dot later dies of smoke poisioning. Any thoughts on this theory, sorry about it being so long 😱😱😱😱😱😱

I don't think this is the case, TBH.

My Theory
Charlie and his mothers plan to con Dot. Nick is still alive amd has nothing to do with the plan. He will come to save his mother, Nick will return on the 30th and Dot will die of shock.

Definitely think Nick is involved somehow. Faking his own death to eliminate himself as a suspect is a good shout.
