Well, they have been spotted filming today.

And Chrono, there are fit candidates every year (on both sides)

Looks like Task 8 (approx)... The blond one goes far clearly...

Andy Walton ‏@waltonandy 36m
Just tried to sneak myself into the back of the shot of the Apprentice, which was filming in the coffee shop where I was. Oh, the lolz...

Alexa Lamont ‏@alexalamont 58m
Just walked past them filming The Apprentice again - they're loving Covent Garden this year....

Alex Rogers ‏@alexrogers191 1h
A camera crew just walked past, filming 3 idiots in suits carrying boxes. They've started filming the apprentice!!!!
from Camden Town

Wonder what they're doing filming in the evening...

Here is a summary of what the candidates have been seen doing so far....

(I can't be sure which task is which - it's a rough guess)

Task 1 - Selling flowers and coffee
Task 2 - A male subteam were spotted, possible doing market research for a product design task.
Task 3 - Selling incense sticks and candles at St. Pauls
Task 4-5 - Literally no sightings.
Task 6 - Were seen in Canterbury, Rochester and at Folly Bridge - god knows what they were doing.
Task 7 - TODAY. Seen in London a few times - Covent Garden, Camden Town etc.

How many tasks are there in the series? Or how many have been filmed so far?

There will be 12 in total, they are probably filming Task 8 or 9 at the moment...

Twelve episodes, not twelve tasks. The number of tasks will be either ten or eleven, depending on whether or not they go back to the format for Series 7 and 8.

What do you mean? The interviews can still be classed as a 'task', and why wouldn't you consider last years final as a task?

I bet there's no way they'd go back to the Series 7 and 8 format.

So we could see a poss leaked final 4/5 pic soon like last year

I don't generally consider either the interviews or the finals as being ordinary tasks.

Why don't you think Lord Sugar would go back to the Series 7 and 8 format? I agree it's unlikely as last year's showed what Leah and Luisa would do with the money more effectively, but the Series 7 and 8 format still showed Tom and Ricky for what they were worth.

Why don't you consider them as tasks? Particularly the final

I think having the Series 7 and 8 format was just a bit... anticlimatic. I think that with the business plans, the more episodes that are dedicated to them, the better.

They've not done that task since 2009...

I suppose I consider the tasks as having a certain format. The tasks in the finals are different because the people taking part are, apart from the Project Managers, not actual candidates. I suppose that's what clinches it really. I see them as opportunities to prove their worth, but not really as 'tasks' in the same sense.

I don't think Lord Sugar really cares, to be honest. Although I don't think he'll change it back either because last year's final worked. One thing I would like to change actually is the number of candidates returning. I'd like the candidates to be able to choose from any previous people (not all of them would be chosen, they'd still be allowed four each, but they can ring any selection from the fired candidates). They did that in Series 1 (apart from Adele, who didn't return) but since then they have just brought back a certain selection (except in Young Apprentice where everyone returned, presumably because that had fewer candidates to pick from). I always thought they'd changed it after Series 1 because it wasn't fair to drag people all that way and then not get picked, but they could have done it last year as they were just phoning the people.

skye ‏@skyegoulding

lol they're filming the apprentice on the next set. It's too funny watching them all nervous in their suits 😂

SET?! What the hell? Perhaps Series 10 sees the return of the Selling on TV Task?!

Presumably she means on the set of the "Boardroom"?
hownwbrowncow

There's no way she would be allowed anywhere near the Apprentice bboardroom...

If they're doing the selling on TV task, someone who watches those shopping channels will see it, so we're bound to find out in due course.

Which task do you reckon they're on now? That task has always been Task 10 in the past. It wouldn't really work with any more than three on a team, given that they have to split presenting and producing duties.

I don't think they'll be past Task 10... I would have thought they were on Task 9 now.

it could be the devise a brand/concept task and they're filming the video/tv ad

eg s8 English wine and s9 online dating which makes it task 9 or 8

I think they're definitely on Task 9 or 10... I don't think it'll be the Selling on TV task.. I think the candidates lost the channel a lot of money on the three times they let the candidates take over

I think boab34 has a good idea of why they might be on a 'set'. On the last four years they would have been out on the streets for Task 10 so I hope it happens again and we see the candidates!!

I wonder if we'll see another interviews picture...

I don't think they did the first time, Miriam and James were brilliant and sold a lot of stuff. And after that, they may have lost money with the actual selling, but the BBC probably had to pay them a load to use them, plus they got more awareness from being featured on the show. I'm sure it worked out well for them in the long run.
