Any fans of Michelle Branch?
Anyone here like Michelle Branch?
Just been re-listening to her two albums and she is simply fab. She was one of my most played artists in high school around 2007-2008 as i was a late fan. I can't say I have been that fond of her change in genre to Country as shown in The Wreckers and the EP Everything comes and goes. |

I bought The Spirit Room in 2001/2002, whenever it was. I still like a couple of songs from it but not as much as I did when I was 11.

I really like "Goodbye to You" and "Everywhere" is a tune but I didn't buy any of her albums.
I love this performance from Buffy.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eg-U9G_feeE |

I loved Everywhere back in the day, reminds me of American Pie 2 which it features in, but haven't listened to it in ages! I'll have to add it my YouTube playlist .

I loved the Spirit Room. As someone else said, I'm not into the country direction.

Yes. I have: Everywhere, All You Wanted, Are You Happy Now, Goodbye To You, Breathe and her duet with Santana: The Game Of Love.

I should really give it another listen actually.

Same here! I was a huge fan of hers, had her first three albums and loved Stand Still, Look Pretty. I've got Everything Comes and Goes but I've not really played it that much to be honest! But that's only because I've not really paid any attention, not because I don't like it...

Stand Still, Look Pretty was a great album, in my opinion. Leave The Pieces, The Good Kind, Tennessee, Cigarettes, Lay Me Down, the title track... All great songs.
I think Michelle had tweeted a few months ago that she was working on a new record due out this year as well... Should be interesting! Especially if it's as well produced as Hotel Paper, that album was brilliant (in terms of production quality). |
