So we all know Patsy Palmer aka Bianca Jackson is leaving the show in the autumn while it's still unknown whether or not the 3 kids ( Morgan Tiffany & Liam ) will stay or go ( I reckon they will more then likely go ) DTC has assured us that Shona McGarty aka Whitney Dean is going nowhere !
This gets me thinking whats next for Whitney ? what storylines do you think the producers have planned for her ? Where can you see her character going in the next few years ?

I do like Whitney when she is given something to do but she has always had to play third fiddle to Lauren and Lucy for a few years.

Lucy gone so maybe she will get more priority as the cast of twenty something's is fairly decent on eastenders just now

She might have more scenes with Kat to start with, as they both adjust to Bianca not being around. Hopefully the writers will also acknowledge that Lily is Whitney's niece and have her spend time with her.

I don't know. The actress said she wants to keep Whitney in the gutter (her words) so it doesn't seem like she'll be progressing much as a character. I was hoping she'd become successful in her teaching assistant job and rise above the issues in her past and show that people don't have to be victims for all their lives after suffering from abuse.

I remember her delight at discovering she's Lily's aunt & helping her brother Ryan adjust to fatherhood. Those scenes were very sweet.

Hopefully we'll she the back of Whitless soon after Bianca goes.

I can see her getting pregnant by Lee when he comes back from Afghanistan to link her to the Carters so she has a family since I don't think she would work with Carol or Sonia and Rebecca. She was always close to Bianca. So I can see her having Lee Carter's baby.

And Shirley flipping out over the fact that at the age of 51, she will become a great-grandmother.

I reckon all the kids will stay with Carol. Bianca will more than likely go to Prison again this time for a longer stint I think I read spoilers somewhere about Bianca and Alfie doing dodgy dealings maybe she gets caught and doesn't drag Alfie down with her

If kids aren't leaving then prison is the only option. She wouldn't leave them for any other reason.
