It was mentioned in another thread that stacey Kat and Sharon seemed to have totally ignored their history with Dennis and Zoe.

I also find it a little odd that none of the Brannings have mentioned Tanya having Cancer since finding out about Carols cancer. Maybe that's just me.

There has also been a lot of out of character things lately which I'll write as I remember them.

One of my biggest pet hates is when a character says something that is completely bang out of order and nobody calls them up on it.

Or when a character finds themselves in a right royal pickle, when the whole could have been avoided in the first place.

David doesn't even remember that Joe exists . I think DTC should bring back Paul Nicholls back now that Patsy Palmer is leaving .

Half of them don't seem to remember that they're related to each other.

It's slightly better than it used to be. People mention people who have left (Carol mentioned Robbie today) or people come back for funerals/weddings. It used to be that if someone left the square they were never mentioned or heard of again.

When Carol told Max she had cancer he said he would be there for her exactly how he was for Tanya and that everything would be okay like it was with Tanya.

Yep, Roxy too, and surprisingly she remembered to take Amy with her!

I think the viewers want to forget that 2010-12 happened to be honest (especially Derek!), never mind Alfie forgetting it.

Kat and Sharon forgetting the history with Zoe and Dennis isn't so bad, as the problem isn't actually with Kat and Sharon so much. Kat didn't want Zoe with Dennis so really by getting with him, Sharon did Kat a favour. It would be nice if Sharon asked how Zoe is doing, but I guess then she'd have to think about what Den did and how it kind of drove her out.

It would be good if Chrissie was released off screen and they shared a scene.

B Mo has forgotten she has two other kids and at least one granddaughter outside of the Slaters.

Alfie has forgotten he has three other cousins, one of which he could have established as dead or alive upon his return by trying to contact him, since he left in dodgy circumstances in 2006. (Jake.)

Phil has forgotten he knows that Danny Moon is dead. Shouldn't he at least tell Alfie?!

Jake and Danny caused problems for Alfie but nowhere near as bad as Michael, so why has Alfie forgotten them and worshipped Michael?

This!

The Moons are like the Waltons!

I too could never understand why Alfie loved Michael so much, he got Kat pregnant amongst other things, maybe Michael had some 'dirt' on Alfie that Alfie didn't want people to know.

Lol! Alfie's got a memory like a sieve!

Max did. I don't think it's that relevant though. Tanya had cervical cancer and Carol has breast cancer.

The lack of a mention by Abi and Lauren is odd and probably due to producers wanting to forget how badly Tanya's cancer was handled (thanks again Berkwood.)

Yeah, I could buy him forgiving Kat for that more than Michael due to their history whereas Alfie and Michael clearly weren't close 2002-05. He wasn't there for Alfie when he lost his Nana, Kat was. Michael is an even more distant relation than Jake, Danny and Maxwell.

And of course after Alfie found out that Michael took the money and set Jean up to look mad, he made a point of saying that Michael couldn't just come for a chat as that doesn't happen when you screw people over. Next episode it's forgotten.

This! And the whole Darren giving Fatboy lessons thing, from about April 2010. Darren was 19 and had held his licence for about 18 months. What happened to age 21 and full licence for three years?!

Changing the subject to Corrie, Tina was for a time Gail's Step-daughter and potential daughter-in-law but neither character interact anymore. It was Gail that Tina confided in when she was pregnant with David's baby and wanted to have the abortion. But there closeness has been forgotten

Martin Fowler is a close relative of Ian's but doesn't seem to have contacted him over Lucy's death. Sonia, Bianca and David are also relatives either by marriage or blood; has David even had a scene with Ian?

Yes, there was a great scene between David and Ian the day that David went to court to give evidence in Janine's trial.

I agree, Michael was a much nastier piece of work than Jake and Danny and he and Alfie were anything but close.

I think Alfie and Kat being distraught after Michael died was just a plot device to reunite them, I can't believe even they would care after all the trouble he caused them, they were the only people at his funeral too!

I meant have they had any scenes since Lucy's murder.
