Inside Soap hinted that a key given to Lauren by Stacey could somehow have resulted in the death of Lucy. I just cannot fathom the reason, but why would Inside Soap bring this detail up?

Maybe Lauren was to be killed in order to punish Max for something related to Stacey?

But i'm not sure if the fact that Stacey gave her a key, or the connection between her and Max being a reason for the murder could implicate Stacey some how in a murder that took place while she was in prison? And would Lucy be killed to punish Max for something Stacey related when anything Stacey related with Max hasn't really been relevant for 3 years

I doubt DTC would make Stacey even indirectly responsible for Lucy's death since he disagreed with Santer making her Archie's murderer.

I can't help but think that this key thing might be significant, and be erm...the key to solving the mystery!

Agree. DTC even said that Stacey wasn't involved.

No.. Even if it did, I can't think of any way that the key could be linked into Lucy..

Do we have any idea when the key's use will be revealed? I hope it's addressed before Stacey returns, because she's not due back on screen for ages is she?

Did he? Where is your evidence for that then?

He already stated on the Lucy murder online ep that she wasn't involved. Although I think Max stated sleeping with Lucy because he wasn't able to have Stacy anymore, though you could implicate anyone in the murder at the moment. I'm not sure the key is relevent, maybe something that belonged to Bradley, I thought it was his wedding ring she gave Lauren.

I really can't wait to find out what the key opens up, it was definitely involved for some reason that's going to come up in the future and I can't wait to see what it's for. Saying that I can't see how the key would link in with Lucy's death and I'm not sure if I want it to be. I'd like Stacey to not be involved in Lucy's death since she was obviously heavily involved in the last big murder mystery in Walford

I know you're just wondering if she has an involvement or not but just in case you didn't hear at the time OP, DTC said in the behind the scenes footage they released recently specifically that Stacey wasn't the killer. Like I say I know you're not saying she is but just so you're aware

Edit- I was beaten to the punch above with the last bit

Why would INside Soap bring it up? To get you to buy it.

^^^^^ Those two posts exactly

He already stated on the Lucy murder online ep that she wasn't involved.
While this is 100% true (i saw that little 9 min thing) you could argue that he said Stacey isn't the murderer which is saying she never killed Lucy directly, but he never said either way if that means she won't be in-directly involved, I do not think this is the case, i think as Stacey is in prison you can rule her straight out of everything and anything to do with it - but just to play devils advocate i guess it wouldn't be really out of the question to say she is some how in-directly involved.

Ive been thinking, the night lucy died. She was outside the house where the party was with Lauren and lucy said arent you suppose to be at the flats, so someone new lauren was going to the flats, but lauren said cancelations. so im wondering if lucy was mistaken by Lauren.

DTC said Stacey isn't the killer, not that she isn't involved.

The key definitely has something to do with the story.

DTC did a filmed interview. I've seen it. He said Stacey isn't the murderer. However I don't dispute she could be involved.

You've linked two posts together that didn't have anything to do with one another.

The poster was asking for evidence of DTC disagreeing with Stacey being ARCHIE'S killer. Nothing to do with Lucy.
