Did I really read something like, she is Kosovo-Albanian, so she is trash?
I doubt it. Where was it said and who by?

Thank GOD I'm not alone. Everyone fawns over her and hypes her up. She doesn't deserve the acclaim when all of her songs are bland and mediocre. She is so average and disposable it hurts and she has no artistry. RIP is one of the worst songs I've ever heard, no wonder Rihanna rejected it.

Maybe she wouldn't seem so fake and unpersonable if her PR didn't try so hard to hide her slutty past and make her seem like the 'girl next door'. Or maybe less money on PR and more on making her production and visuals a bit stronger (the I Will Never Let You Down video is shocking).

From Pink Knight #118
I am suffering her on The One Show at the moment, she was born in Pristina formally in Yugoslavia. Moved to the UK when she was one. Not that interested in her facts, but it adds to my disliking her, empty headed lack of knowledge.

I think her new song is pretty good. It's nothing spectacular but a nice pop song. Now her song Radioactive, that was spectacular.

Obviously I can't speak for that FM, but I'd assumed the "empty headed lack of knowledge" comment was in reference to their following point, that she had never heard of Estonia.

Either way, they didn't call her trashy at any point, so in answer to your earlier question of

No, you didn't.

Well I think I put it mildly as trash because this sentence we are speaking of smells for me even worse in particular, racism.

I think you've misread their post, which has a few punctuation issues.

Did I, Should I?

Why?

This poster treated as merciless Rita as I read his posting.

empty headed lack of knowledge
Well, it's so easy to call someone, who he will never know her in reality, that, if you are sitting complacently at home on your computer.

I think you've simply misunderstood their post. I can see how, given that the sentence structure is a little haphazard, but I really don't think that's what they were trying to say.

Surely the Music Forum can't be wrong in their assessment of Ms. Ora ?

Rita Ora claims UK number one with single 'I Will Never Let You Down'

I find it quite reassuring that my personal opinion is out of balance with the rest of my generation.

I don't like Rita Ora, but I love her new song. That's the problem I think most people have. No one really likes her, but will happily nod along to one of her infectious bops.

Her new song is alright but it sounds like something RiRi would have done about four years ago. Her video for it is a straight RiRi rip off IMO.

I understand the UK press to extent, she has had success here, it's the US press I don't get. They try and ship her round everywhere as if she's a superstar and as successful as Rihanna, yet she hasn't had a single US/global hit single.

Does she writer her own songs? I have a lot more respect for any artists when I find out they write their own songs. Like Mariah Carey, it shocked me when I found out she wrote all of her jingles.

Her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, wrote and produced her latest song. That's the extent of my knowledge about her releases.

Isn't she on Jay-Z's label and he is her mentor? He could probably get her on anything and everything.
Mentor is he? Define 'mentor'?

Funny that because here she's taking full credit for writing that song, even though she didn't

Gladly unlikeable only last so long, hopefully she is gone from the music scene sooner!
