Samsung Galaxy express 2

I have just upgraded to the express 2 on Vodafone. The specs seemed pretty decent with a 1.7 dual core processor. Overall the phone is pretty much as I would expect but what is bugging me is that the phone is not very fluid when scrolling down menus and web pages. It is very clunky if that's the right word and you have to keep swiping your finger all the time where on other phones I have had one swipe would take you from top to bottom of the page. Do you think this is normal or may I have a faulty handset. If this is normal can anyone reccomend on Vodafone a handset that might be more fluid at around the same value.

S-Lag? That was my only complaint with my S3 was the laggy screens sometimes & unresponsiveness especially after waking the screen. It usually did it for a bit when I'd just picked the phone up & started using it & it didn't usually last long. I assumed the phone was doing something intensive in the background which was causing the issue.

It does it all the time. With or without apps running. Thinking of swapping for the xperia SP. Does anyone have any experience of this phone.
