Yammy AX-1
Hi y'all. I've got a qustion about my AX-1. When in Pro Logic mode, how come I can't use the rear centre channel?

Prolly because it uses a matrixed channel of the rear to create the left and right channels, So cant have a centre rear also....just guessing as I dont own one

I have the same amp. According to the manual, the rear center is only activated with dolby digital 5.1 or DTS. That is why you do not get it with pro-logic.

yeah, Pro Logic only uses four channels: Front Left, Center, Front Right, and a rear channel. This rear channel is split between the Rear Left and Rear Right. It does not use a Rear Center..
