News flash - it's 2014 and women have equal rights with men. It's no longer a male dominated world and if that upsets some of the men - tough.

Tess and Claudia actually increased viewers when Fforsyth was off.

And it isn't as if World War 3 will break out if it is two women - it's only a TV show.”

You are entirely correct, ratings increased by quite a bit when forsyth wasn't on. Personally my interest will increase more that hes not on live shows anymore. His health is far more important than his work now.

Says much.”

Actually not all of 'us' think that Abbey was that 'good' or made that much 'progress' and I'm getting sick and tired of posters being attacked just because they don't concur with all the hype around her. I happen to agree with the poster that the show lost it's charm when they championed someone like her - someone who thinks it's acceptable to boast in her post victory interview about how she's going to get drunk after she won the glitterball and then predicatably does get papped absolutely legless and then again after she finishes the tour - yeah the producers really got the winner they deserved with her! And face it, she wouldn't have got picked for the show were it not for who she was married to - excuse me if that sticks in my craw - but I didn't dislike her just because of that, but also because some of us really don't think she was that great, both as a dancer or as a personality.

Erm good news about Claudia by the way - despite some of her minor faults I've always liked her and at least as someone pointed out it's not Anton
