Auto delete glitch!
I had a lot of failed recordings over the last few days on my Humax 1000S. When I tried to directly record a live programme today I got the message that there was insufficient room on the HDD. I tried a factory reset but to no avail. I ended up formatting the HDD and all is now ok apart from losing all my old recordings obviously. The auto delete was set to auto but as far as I could see it did not delete any old recordings to make way for new ones.
Anybody else experience this? I think that the factory reset may be to the old software version as I don't seem to have full catchup services available.

Unless it's something I really want to keep, once watched I delete straight away.
The only issue I've had lately is a couple of Unsorted File messages when trying to playback Corrie. I know it's a bit late now, but why didn't you just manually delete a load of old program's/series you had recorded instead of a format? |
