I know we've had one of these before but thought it was a good concept so brought it back. Feel free to add characters if you like.

The Careworkers
Mike Milligan – Mike is the head care worker and all of the kids love him. He is caring, sensitive and funny but can be stern when he needs to be.
Tracy Beaker – Tracy is 22 year olds. She understands the kids in the care home. She is caring as well but sometimes makes rash decisions.
The kids
Kevin Skelton – Kevin has been in and out of the care home since he was 5. He’s now 18. He is very bright and a very popular kid. His mum threw him out when she got pregnant again.
Connor Mulgrew – Connor is Kevin’s best mate. Like Kevin, he has been in and out of the care home since he was 5. His mum is an alcoholic and always chooses booze over her own kid. Connor is 18.
Imogen Stewart – Imogen has been in the care home for 2 years. She was put in it after her mum kept choosing guys over her. Imogen is 18.
Jack McAllister – Jack is a quiet boy who likes to be by himself. His parents died in a car crash when he was 15 so he was taken to the care home. He is 17.
Scout Allen – Scout has been in care for 4 years now. Her mum threw her and her brother out when she couldn’t be bothered to look after them. Scout is 17.
Barry Barry – Barry is a bad boy and likes to cause trouble and mischief. He is constantly in and out of trouble. His parents are in jail. Barry is 19. He is very protective over his two younger sisters.
Dynasty Barry – Dynasty is the middle sibling of the Barrys. She knows what she wants to do in the future. Dynasty is a caring girl unlike Barry. Dynasty is 18 as well.
Kasey Barry – Kasey is the youngest Barry sibling and the quietest. She is a tomboy and loves football and boxing. Kasey is 17.
Toby McAllister – Toby is Jack’s younger brother. He adores Jack and Jack adores him. They are very close. Toby is 4.
Liam Allen – Liam is Scout’s younger brother. He is 4, like Toby.

It was a hectic Monday morning in the care home

Three new kids were moving into the care home.

Everyone had heard bad things about the new kids family.

They were all a bit nervous about the new arrivals.

Jack and Scout were going to keep their little brothers away from them

The Barry siblings arrived and there was lots of commotion.

Barry Barry was the one causing all the commotion

"Why do we have to be here in this stinking home?? We were managing fine on our own!" Barry snapped.

"You're just a kid!" Tracy pointed out

"Yeh and so are you!" Barry snapped.
"I'm older than you Barry. Come on, let's go and show you your rooms."

"I'm not interested." Barry snapped

"Girls, would you like to see your rooms?" Tracy smiled kindly at Dynasty and Kasey.

The girls nodded shyly

"Come on then!" Tracy smiled and led them upstairs.

Dynasty and Kacey followed her.

Downstairs, Jack walked into the hall with Toby.

"Oh. Hello!" Jack said.

Barry glared at Jack. "Don't talk to me care kid!"

"Why boy so mean?" Toby asked.

(Just having lunch! Will continue after! )

"Because he's stupid. Let's go upstairs." Jack soothed

Barry grabbed Jack. "NOONE calls me stupid!!"
This scared Toby.

"Get off!! You're scaring my brother!!" Jack warned

"Awww poor little diddums!!" He said looking at Toby.

Toby hugged Jack's leg tightly. "Jacky..." He sniffed
