Drove past a bill billboard for Burger King promoting new offers yet just around the corner the local BK is being demolished

When I visit my parents there is a plant pot at the side of the doorstep, and each time one of their cats will sit in the pot in an act of claiming their space/territory.
They own 2 cats but one of the street cats (a beautiful sandy coloured one) has the cheek to sit in the pot sometimes.

I understand my parents cats are thinking 'oh he's done it now' and must reclaim their throne.

That big ginger fluffy cat who lives up my street and who persists on parking itself inside its owner's bird table with it's tufty arse sticking out at the side!

I have a friend who is about 6'2" (perhaps a bit taller) and she loves to wear high heels. She also complains she can't meet a man tall enough (usually while wearing the heels!)

Apparently at uni she worked in a very old pub with low ceilings, on her first day she went shopping for flats because of all the near misses.

When someone won't let you in a lane when you're indicating but later on they need in in front of you.

Same for impatient drivers trying to weave in and out of busy lanes but the lane they are in ends up being the slowest.

The way that the Starbucks baristas spell my friend's name - a couple of the more interesting interpretations of her response of "Zoey with a Y" include "Yoe" and "Zoe with a Y" (yes, they did write that!).

the eternal comedy potential of the word : pouffe.

not very well brought up dogs doing that rubbing their anus on the good shag pile carpet while propelling themselves forward with their front legs . I wonder if the skill is taught parent to pup, or does every dog instinctively know how to do it ?

kids having an almighty strops in the supermarket, a gut busting 7.8 on the richter scale of petulance, lower lip quiver, foot stamping, arm folding defiance with the lying on floor and arms and legs flailing in reserve , should it be needed.

Putin looks as though he's very much enjoying that.

Something amused me at work today. Three people had refresher stacker truck training to make sure they were still able to use them. One guy passed and then about 30 mins after being back on the section crashed into someone's bench! Luckily there was no one there so it made a few of us chuckle
