Good work on the Radio 5 Live commentary statistics Steve. Of course the one thing that remains to be seen is whether 5 Live will have a reporter covering tomorrow's night's Third Place Play-Off, I suspect this is unlikely given that the match will be taking place when they are broadcasting non-sport programmes as was the case with those two Japan matches which they had no coverage of at all. I'll post statistics for the presenters, commentators, co-commentators and reporters involved in talkSPORT's World Cup coverage after the Final, probably on Monday.
Going back to the discussion between Dave and me from the other day, talkSPORT.com has finally updated its schedule pages for this weekend!
We still don't know who'll be co-commentating on the Third Place Play-Off though (unless it's been mentioned on-air and I've missed it), as tomorrow's schedule just lists Andrew McKenna as "bringing you" live coverage as the game. Presumably he'll be the presenter from Rio with Gary Taphouse commentating. As for their World Cup Final coverage, there's no mention of Adrian Durham in their listings - just Mark Saggers, Stan Collymore and Ray Parlour. It was mentioned after Ray's chat on Hawksbee & Jacobs yesterday that Ray would actually be at the Final.
In other scheduling news, Ray Stubbs will be presenting from 2pm on both days - Saturday Scoreboard on said day and then World Cup Today with Alvin Martin on Sunday. Ray presented last weekend's Sunday Scoreboard from talkSPORT's Rio studio (even though he was primarily on holiday there), I'm not sure if he's back in the UK yet. Nat Coombs is back to present The Transfer Tavern between 6-8pm on Saturday and after the World Cup Final, Jason Cundy is presenting a World Cup Final Phone-In from 11pm-1am.
