My contract runs out in a week, has anybody got any money off etc?

Im currently on unlimited faster broadband ,over 1km from the green cab, i get 16mb download on fttc , i pay £18 for this. I already have the HH5 , had to pay for it though a few months ago.

Just wondered what people are getting deal wise, thanks.

Do you have any other services with BT? If you do, it might be easier to get a deal.

Have a look to see what other companies are offering, try and see if they'll match it.

Also have a look at plusnet as they're owned by BT and often much cheaper. Check sites such as money saving expert and quidco too, for cash back and other such deals.

I got just over £5 off for a BT Vision, ADSL unlimited and weekend phone calls. Can't upgrade to YouView, which is what I really wanted - would have had to pay somewhere around £200 for the box.

Thats incorrect they will give you the box for free if you were upgrading to Youview from BT Vision. That said I believe they can restrict the service to BT Infinity customers due to the bandwidth requirements.

Ring them up again, I got the latest box for £35 to replace the original Youview box they lauched.

They said they were actively replacing the silver BT vision boxes, and hopefully will start replacing the newer black BT Vision boxes in the near future.

I'm not too fussed about YouView, but the. BT vision box is getting a bit sluggish in its old age.

i went from sky to bt youview, omg what a mistake, after 6 months i have resigned back to sky, still paying the £7pm to bt youview, but its worth it, bt youview is so slow and unresponsive .
