Can anyone explain what the stop sale information means on my local cabinet? I have tweeted BT here:

hope that works! I'm so confused. We have just moved.

It's just that IPStream is being replaced with Wholesale Broadband Connect, so ISPs who are using IPStream need to switch to WBC.

Not an issue for new supply, as they will be on WBC or similar anyway.

Which exchange are you on and when did it go live ?

As far as I know not all cabinets give live at the same time. OpenReach could still be working through the cabinets on the exchange.

It might also be your cabinet has been deemed "un-viable" for commercial roll out.

The SamKnows website has FTTC / FTTP available "in some areas" for your Tettenhall.

If you have your neighbour's telephone number try it through the checker and see what you get. If it shows fibre and is the same cabinet try your ISP.

Use their checker (they usually run a check if you attempt to up-grade) and if it says no contact them. Explain you and your neighbour are on the same cabinet, they get fibre and you apparently can't.

Yes this is why apparently! Are they going to extend capacity? Does it mean it's first come first serve? I feel like I've lost an arm
