Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+

Hi all,

what does everyone think of the newly released Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ tablet? I think it looks good - £300 for a 10 inch HD tab seems great! Also liking the promise of an 18 hour battery, MicroSD storage, 8M camera, front-facing dual Dolby speakers, groovy flip-stand. It all sounds too good to be true! Anyone had any hands-on with one yet? I am looking to replace my old Nexus 7" tablet with a larger screen tablet. Don't know whether to wait and see what other new tablets come out soon. Any advice?

Thanks
Dawn

The lenovo does look a good tablet and I did look at it but I personally chose to get the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet.

There is always the last generation Sony Xperia Z Tablet and it still looks to be a pretty decent tablet.

Or maybe the nexus 10 but it loses the micro SD slot

If you use Amazon Instant video that will not work on regular Android tablets another possible downside might be with such a large battery the charging time might be pretty long.

There is always an Ipad if it interests you as it has Instant video on it or possibly the latest kindle.

The charging time relates to the amount of charge put in, not the size of the battery. If you are in a hurry you can half charge it in the same time as fully charging a battery half the size and be no worse off.

are you sure Amazon streaming video doesn't work? I'm sure I've had it streaming on my Nexus 7 before now.
Anyway, I went ahead and ordered it because it was getting the better of me! lol. (Or rather my other half ordered it for me for my bday. Also got the keyboard-cover to go with it, cant wait!)

edit: now that I think about it, I was most likely accessing Lovefilm / Amazon video on my iphone, and Netflix on my Nexus

I'm sure there are a few games worth having.
However the web browser experience is far too limited on IPads.

But still, the iPad is a safe bet for games. (non web games, apps that is)
