No. People with bulimia can be fat thin or normal, as with most eating disorders. Weight has nothing to do with it. it is also a myth that all anorexics/bulimics think they are fat when they are not.

You should still be able to get Turkish lira at the post office. The exchange rate is pretty good at the moment.
You can also arrange with your bank to be able to use your debit card in the Atm machines over there, which will be Turkish lira. Just tell them the dates you'll be using your card over there.

If you get the lira in Turkey, can you get it as soon as you get off the plane?

I think loads of places take GBP, they say you get a better rate over there anyway.
Not sure if you can change any on the plane or in the airport.
