That would be my idea of hell! It could be anywhere in the world no real culture or the 'taste' of Turkeh.

I deliberately chose a fairly small quiet resort, there were actually very few kids there, no slides & no huge skyscraper apartments/hotels.
The resort I was at is used a lot for paragliding , it was actually renowned for only that, 10/15 years ago, with skydivers using the mountain Babadağ for throwing themselves off! The mountain has a principal summit at an elevation of 1,969 metres (6,460 ft) and a second one called "Karatepe" at an elevation of 1,400 metres (4,593 ft).

I have decided not to get into this series of BB, in fact I haven't even seen pictures of the HMs. I think I will find it more entertaining reading the various threads on here than watching the actual programme.

I had the 2 launch nights on in the background, what I heard/saw didn't excite me in the least. They all sound like a boring lot & they certainly aren't your average Joe Bloggs, which is what BB should be about. I suspect I'll be giving it a miss too. It's way off what BB was originally supposed to be about.

i have seen the house/mates pictures but thats it
C5 had made good progress last year in terms of house/mates and some live feed but
the sad thing is that its horrible knowing how good this show could be but it seems
that C5 have taken the show right back to when they took over

On a more pleasant note summer has arrived in cambridge today as its very hot already, just hope it lasts all week

It will be interesting to see how the ratings for this series go and whether its what people in general want or not but its certainly not for me.

Cambridge is lovely all year round. They have even brought back those annoying ,montages with the music. It might be amusing alongside live feed, so you dont see the same thing twice but no point without it.

I am glad it isn't just me that would hate to go there. I don't think i would even like it with small children because the combination of crowds and swimming pools would mean I couldn't relax for a second.

I could be joining you there Flora - and the threads certainly liven up when BB is on! I've already seen some very nasty exchanges, there are a few FMs who will be taking a short break any time now!


There are many FMs who share these views SR, me included! It's so far removed from what we all fell in love with, not surprising we're kind of over it.

It's quite sad, I used to really enjoy being involved and following all the twists and turns, but I find it very difficult to warm to any of these people. In real life I would give most of them a wide berth, so why would I want to watch them on TV??

I am the opposite. I enjoy seeing horrible people and ridiculous people and all the other types i avoid in real life, and I enjoy sometimes changing my mind about them.

I can see why you say that - with LF we feel we know what's going on and who's doing what to whom! Unless I can either like or dislike the HMs I really don't care, and I hate being spoon fed someone else's highlights.

We were supposed to go to a garden party in a stately home today, but it was further than we had thought, hotter than we thought and Pippin threw up in the car more than we thought so we turned tail and went to the farm instead.
Nobby wanted to kill the ducks, and Pippin was frightened of everything from rabbits to pigs.
