Good Morning All

Even those who don't care for Iain Lee have to admire his patience here, I couldn't stop laughing.....

I hope something good comes of it Oathy.I know you are great at fighting battles - witness your ongoing fight for Live Feed - but you must be so weary by now, and these are things that shouldn't have to be fought for.
Good Luck today xxx

I have come round to Jale now.I thought the row over the chicken was disgusting. I'm sure the perception was that, as Jale is plump, she took more than she should - it was a thinly veiled dig, I thought, and it did look as if she had the same as those already at the table.
As Pauline,AKA Carol mark2, so obviously dislikes her, I don't blame Jale for not finishing off making the bread, or whatever she was supposed to do.I think she is in a lose/lose situation whatever she does.
As others have said, it is downright rude not to pronounce her name properly or bother to remember it.She has behaved with more dignity than they deserve.

Thanks flower x
Was telling a few of the people last night the live feed thing is basically running itself
a Certain Boss at Channel 5 didn't realise endemol and others were also in Contact.
I did hear back from Viacom also and they have Requested more information whilst making it clear they haven't taken over they will 100% pass on the details to the relevant heads of department. (this was an email back from head of management at Viacom UK).

The NHS thing really is just soul destroying but now its been allowed into the ombudsmen that will help a lot.

Yep enough material to keep a Carry on team going for years.
the doctors in London just look in disbelief when they hear how its run down here.

Good morning
Thanks for the replies - was feeling a bit maudlin the other night (a few sherberts involved ). Daughter's partner is doing OK - he had another 2 stents put in and now needs monitoring to see if he needs a pacemaker. He doesn't smoke, drinks very little and is not overweight (exercises regularly after the 1st attack). He's quite a bit older than daughter - I think 59 or 60. It makes me sad because she seems to get more kicks in life than she deserves (lost husband to leukemia then when she met this partner lost first baby)

Anyway - BB - been catching up this morning - don't like anyone very much yet - Christopher and Chris seem OK. Can't stand Helen, don't like Pauline and what on earth is daft Danielle on about - she must realise the public (well, us internet nutters) have sen that she's not all that "holier than thou"! Ash is nice to look at but that seems to be all.

Too many models - again

I don't think it would make a lot of difference, given the 3 who are up, the other two would get more evict votes than her (according to all the polls) or if it was to save (which its not) i am sure she would get most votes

very true, and she is a good sport and seems to be almost the only housemate who wants to be there for the experience, rather than to gain "fame".

Yikes I wonder how many times the lady has split her spine getting out of a car??!!!

Its Lidl, and they are very nice, although I haven't yet had the urge to pester Ian Lee about them.

I know the feeling. Almost. CL apparently hasn't noticed that I have had a back injury for twenty-odd years and regularly tries to park one inch away from the next car.
Then, when I have finished hissing at him through gritted teeth he backs up so I can get out as if it is a huge favour.

I think you are very brave oathy.
I didn't want to meet the consultant whose total lack of interest contributed massively to the death of my mother, but I did request that his negligence was brought up at the next divisional meeting of his peers.

the guy who basically screwed my life up isn't on front line services now but he takes and "trains" the interns. when I found this out and then what happened with mum
No way are they getting away with it again. The entire NHS in this area is a disaster.
that lack of interest is just as bad a doctor doing a massive mistake.
I do think a lot more of them are in it for the money and not so much for the caring
think that's played a massive factor in why things have changed. Not a huge numbers but just a few are enough to see the effect.

Evening all - you're right SR, they seem to get away with murder with no apparent accountability. (((oathy))) hope you manage to make progress.

Flossie I'm not surprised you were feeling a bit down - it's scary. Sounds as though he's doing better though, and an eye being kept on his progress.

I agree with all of the above re BB!

Why on earth would I want that?

I shall be spending my next few weeks shunning anything football related – I won’t buy any food product with a World Cup promotion even if it was something I bought before. Instead they should have international building competitions and rehouse all the people in the favelas.

Got a load of recorded programmes so I can keep away from the stupid tennis, too.

To be fair, it isnt deliberate. He just imagines we are all gymnasts for some reason.

My daughter, looking over my shoulder says .......
"not gymnasts, Honey, CONTORTIONISTS!"

I was inspired to go to lidl to get some minty chocolate biscuits. Not the orange ones because they're not as nice. The chocolate minty ones. Not the orange. You can only get them in the one shop you know.

Dont look if you are eating, and Hicky, dont you look anyway.
Spoiler
I have just caught Nobby munching happily on a dry cat turd. Time to relocate the litter tray. *gags*

Apparently, there are no normal ordinary bloody bandages in any of the supermarkets in this area.
I would even be happy with a "World cup Willie" version.

I'm not keen on football and won't be making any effort to watch it on TV. For the first two + weeks we'll be in Singapore anyway, so if Mark and OH want to watch it, I'm sure they will. I have a baby to cuddle
