RIP and thanks so much for making the forum more enjoyable.”

Many of us feel the same - we shared the BB madness - and when you think how many posters become vitriolic and spiteful, to lose such a kindly soul is doubly sad.

Everyone's been so lovely JoJo, it's very comforting to know how loved he was

Hi All

Got shed loads of TV to catch up on, I seem to have recorded loads of stuff and not got round to watching it.

OH is working, but when he gets home, think we'll watch Happy Valley, Prey and tonight's The Mentalist.

Ooh, I finally had the steroid injection in my knee, only took 13 months on the waiting list

I feel as though I've 'lost touch' with everyone in here, been trying to keep me post count down by staying in chatter

Hope Islay's ok, haven't 'spoken' to her in yonks xxx

A MAN cut off his own feet with the jagged edge of broken tea cups after he was unable to receive surgery for a condition that left him in agony.

Mr Dunhe, who lives in China's Dingyuan County, resorted to the extreme measures as he was unable to afford surgery.

It was very pleasant.

Mr G was booked to do a Trade Show and the room cost the same for both of us to go as it would for him alone so I stayed in a Premier Inn for the first time – it was fine – and ate at a Beefeater for the first time in about 40 years – that was good, too.

I went to Salford Quays and stocked up on Molton Brown and had a look at the Trafford Centre on the way home.

The Trade Show was a bit useless, but I did get to see my son.

Oathy doing an openair workshop of Joan Collin strops in the middle of the street.
post man put mail into wrong house again and said "sorry having a bad week" I said the mere fact you can even see a massive Big 48 on the door worries me greatly he started getting stroppy so I totally ripped him apart the smug little ****. Bad week my arse.
It even got the poles out looking in horror..

The Premier Inn's are very reasonable, as you say, you pay for the room.

I haven't been in a Beefeater for a long time either.

I've been to the Trafford Centre a few times, very nice but quite about 40 mile journey for me.

It was well worth it to see your son then.

The room at the Premier was as comfy as ones we’ve had at Hiltons or Ramadas. There was no bar and restaurant there but the Beefeater was next door… and the fast wifi at £3 a day for two devices was much better than the Hilton.

I thought the Beefeater was very good. I’ll certainly use them again.

We’re used to doing 50 miles to get into Edinburgh and we usually go 20 miles to the supermarket. Those miles do not have a lot of other traffic on them though.

I have a panne velvet dress from the 80s in a drawer somewhere with that neckline. I think it’s turquoise, though, not pink.
