Ideal weather for a barbecue and I've just been invited to one at my brother's house around the corner.

We got CL a chimenea thing for his birthday, and he's planning on putting a barbecue rack on it. I'm not sure how that is going to work. or how we are going to keep the dogs away from it, but he seems happy enough.

I love the look of chimeneas and have often toyed with the idea of getting one for a bit of warmth when needed outside but haven't a clue what they are like for cooking in but cant see why some sort of rack wont do the job. Wont the heat from the chimenea put the dogs off getting too near or are they made of hardier stuff

saying it as it is is rubbish, when it happens to be what a self obsessed, tactless young woman thinks it is as it is, when it actually isn't.

You probably think I am making this up, but a couple of series ago on BOTS they had a puppet dog who would ejaculate over the audience when he was stimulated by Pete Burns.

Evening Honey.:+))))))))))))))))))

It will show dog owners how little control they actually have over their dogs, the country is overrun with dogs now, never seen so many in my life.

A lot of people who pass down my road have to cross over to get pass others with dogs because they would fight if they came into contact.

If telling someone the truth upsets them, thats their problem isn't it?
Surely telling them lies is never going to help them.

I am not sure how anyone just "imagining" my little Nobby savaging them is going to show anything.
Why are we celebrating and encouraging ignorance and irrational phobias?
Obviously it is outrageous if people dont take precautions to stop their dog getting loose and biting postmen (even on their own property) but if a well behaved and placid dog is lying in the hallway doing nothing and the postman "feels threatened" its him that wants locking up not the dog owner.

I wish people would stop their dogs fighting. Our Gretel was badly injured by a pitbull once.
We cross over when another dog is coming but it isnt because Gretel is a danger, she's as soft as anything, but we dont know if the other dog is vicious or not, and I expect they think the same. It is a shame we have to do it because it teaches them to be scared of other dogs, (and children if you pull them away and vice versa)

Its only a problem for them if you open your big gob for no reason. We dont have to give a running commentary of our thoughts.

He's not going to feel threatened by a quiet dog lying down is he.

My O/H is scared of dogs as she was bitten when a young girl.

It's unlikely a negative opinion would be given unless an opinion was asked for.

Some people are terrified of dogs whatever they are doing and however small they are unfortunately, and it is understandable if someone has been bitten, but why should responsible owners be penalised if their dog has done nothing wrong?

Oh yes. I agree with that. If someone asks an opinion tell the truth as kindly as possible.

I have an admission of guilt! We went The Ev last night for one drink (it was just for a nightcap after me mates 50th party) it was completely souless, we hated it with a passion, few redeeming features.

There were only 8 people in there, never again

BUT Paddy's place is opening up soon next door so we'll christen it together.

Gonna log off in a mo, see you tomorrow at the open mic xxxxxx.

One of the problems with dogs, apart from them being wild animals, is that you can't tell what they might do, as many people can tell you.
The favorite saying is, It's never bitten anyone before, well i don't care about that fact, it might bite me and it might not, with a lot of animals in the wild i can say, it probably will attack me,

Oh, has it got film on the glass, couldn't see it tearing?

We don't go in the park, it must be 2 feet deep in crap, we moved here for the school.
The park must be used by all dog walkers for miles around.

I would bring a law out that restricted all dogs to be owned by a few societies in the country.
For the Blind, for Police protection and detection purposes, drug detection, security purposes in government sensitive buildings, and any other special purpose that slipped my mind.

But as a pet, no, like ownership of most wild animals is being outlawed, if they can't be in the wild then thats because humans have driven them out but it doesn't say they have to be caged.

Yes you are right. Sometimes animals can bite seemingly out of the blue, often if they are ill. So why would someone be prosecuted for something unforeseeable? It would be like jailing someone if the steering failed on their well maintained car and it crashed into a building or people.
We take reasonable risks. People are dangerous too. Statistically MORE dangerous, and we dont usually lock up people who might become violent.

Not tearing. I dont think it would have to but it seems to have "waves" visible at one part. Anyway, it wouldn't be possible to climb up smooth glass.

HAHAHA the "two feet deep in crap made me laugh.
Every time I go to the shops i have to dodge around a trail of dogdirt. It must be the size of horse and it very obviously isn't taken out enough because it cant make it to the field.
you can see that the owner tries to drag it along while it dollops because there is a trail of dirt and wee. I have no idea why they dont take it out more and clean it up, or at the very least drag it just as far as the gutter.
The other weird thing is that the dollop is red. Like that builders brick stuff, so people think it is cement and walk straight through it. What causes bricky dogdirt?

People are increasingly being taken off the streets for acting as though they could turn violent, mainly through drink, i admit,

But i think we are far too lenient with violent persons.

A cat has to use either claws out or claws in mode, claws out would surely rip any plastic on glass with the weight of a cat.

Red doggie dirt can only mean it has internal bleeding or else it has eaten red food, maybe beetroot.

I think cats claws would rip it quite quickly, but they dont need to go in deep.

It isnt a bleeding sort of red. It is exactly like powdered brick. Terracotta.
