I attended the Womens World Cup Qualifier match on the 8th May which was show on BBC 2 at 7pm. My you view box froze and I haven't got a copy. Can watch it on Iplayer but cannot seem to download it on my macbook or iPad.

Can anyone help please? If someone has it and could burn to a DVD I will gladly pay.

Hi Sarah,

From my experience with MAC OS, to download programmes the BBC iPlayer Downloads application must be running when you click the ‘download' button on the iPlayer website. If the application is not running, the download will not start.

Please also note that iPlayer videos are only available for a certain time period whether they have been downloaded or are being streamed. If you download the video from the iplayer website, then the file will lock after this time period however, the file still remains on your harddrive... therefore it is possible to un-lock the file using 3rd party software. Google something like 'BBC iPlayer DRM remover'. Or watch a youtube video on how to do it.

There is a great bit of software called get_iplayer (google it). I run it on Linux but i'm sure it is available for other OS like Windows and Mac OS.
