Hello, does anyone know if the G has predictive text? By this I mean when typing a text a list shows words that you maybe typing for quickness. If yes how to set it up, thanks.

I'm sure in the past when I had a Motorola V500 their used to be that feature on their; I know it's available on Windows Phone... I'll have a look for you and see what I can find!

There's a paid for app on Google Play (Swiftkey) which does exactly what you're asking for; and it comes with a free-trial.

Yes I saw this when I was doing my research before posing the question. It looks like it's not available on the phone then. Thanks for any positive advice.

Whenever I call into PC World I'll have a look at their demo handset they've got in store and see what I find.

I have the Moto G, it's a great phone. I use TouchPal X keyboard which is free..

Just install the Google Keyboard from the market place. One of, if not the best keyboard available. Has the swype compatibility built in as well.

Had a play with the Google Nexus 7 and Samsung Pro 12.1 and both had the keyboard you are looking for... As the OP says it looks like you need to install the Google keyboard from the Play Store.
