I thought HTC Sense was the "Skin" overlaid over the version of Android running on the M7?

Looking at Wikipedia and Google Images your phone should look like this?

Was it always working on this phone and just disappeared or has it never been on this phone since you got it?

Just wondering if somebody could have put another launcher on the phone if it's a new phone to you or if you are looking at it for somebody?

It has never been on my phone.

Yes HTC sense is the 'skin' as you say iGeek but there was an option on the desire to download apps and themes.

I will check that link thanks!

It's always been on your phone. It's the first thing you see when you turn it on and you cannot remove it.

Sense is not an application you can run. It is the system menus, the notification bar, the startup screen and lock screen, home screen and buttons, the dialler, and contacts menu, etc.

Sense is the name of HTC's customised version of Android, whereas Samsung call theirs Touchwiz. Sense has become more minimalist over the years, especially since the Desire.

If you want the old Sense look, there are launchers you can download from the Play Store.

You guys have misunderstood him.

There was an app on the old HTC Desire which allowed you to register a HTC Sense account and then download themes to the phone.

I'm not sure if there is the same feature on the new HTC's.

I recommend downloading this app though as it allows you to install loads of custom themes which are pretty good.

Is there a launch system like sense for the xperia z2? I like the look of mine but I'd also like the option to change the displays - like date and time etc

Ah sorry. My fault.

I don't have a HTC One so can't check if the app is on the phone or if it's in the settings somewhere.

Have you tried going to Settings> Personalise, and seeing if you can change some theme stuff around there?
