Problems with EE/T mobile

Anyone else having major problems with this company?

I took out a contract with them a few days ago and I was given a Motorola phone. I have had a few problems since then

1. I cannot set up an online account. The app they suggest brings up a blank page. I tried registering online but every browser I used says the site has no security certificate and might be unsfafe. Therefore I have to call to check my bill/allowance.

2. My broadband Internet is really really slow. It takes me about 5 minutes to load my feed on Facebook. Wi fi works fine on the phone it is just the mobile data.

I called to cancel and told them the Internet was too slow. They never offered any help but instead told me how to cancel.

Does anyone else have any ideas to deal with this. I am paying 11.99 per month so it is a cheap enough but it is really making me stressed.

It sounds like you might be going to the site via an outdated link in order to view your online account. What exact link are you checking your allowance or having the certificate issue on?

What speed do you get on mobile internet if you download the Ookla Speedtest app? (it's free)

What is the signal like?

Do you get the 3G or H indicator or what indicator do you see for mobile data?

Are you using the EE site? Click the link below and choose T-Mobile.

https://my.ee.co.uk/your-account/login/

Works fine for me for both EE and Orange so should also work fine on T-Mobile.

It'll be that the OP is going to page via the wrong / old link and therefore the SSL certificate isn't validating, that's why I asked what link they were using.

The EE site does indeed work fine. It may not be the most reliable thing in the world but if every browser complains about an invalid certificate then either you connection is compromised, you're going to a fake/dodgy site, or your certificate validation process is broken, which can be caused by your computer having an incorrectly set date.
