Is it me or do the following Frijj milkshake flavours taste pretty much the same?

-Chocolate Milkshake
-Fudge Brownie Milkshake
-Cookie Dough
-Sticky Toffee pudding
-Honeycomb choc swirl

As I list the flavours, I'm starting to think its just my taste buds... but I honestly can't tell the difference between any of these flavours.

Is anyone else having this 'issue'? And for any geeks out there who could perhaps shine some scientific facts about taste, ingredients etc. I would love to hear from you!

Hi Shakey!

Sorry, quite off topic here, I am quite a milkshake conossieur (sp?), been a fan of milkshake since a very very young age. Early favourites were Chocolate Nesquik and Milo, though the formulation of Milo ended up changing to something less chocolately so I went off that.

I am not a fan of Frijj as it is thick, and when it comes to bottled milkshakes I prefer thin textures. My favourite bottle shake is Mars milk. If I can't get that, I will settle for Yazoo.

Talking of Yazoo, they have recently launched a vanilla flavour, and it is marvellous!

I only buy Frijj when it is on offer for 1/2 price. I only usually get chocolate but did once pick up on of the toffee ones by mistake and I instant;y noticed the difference.

Are you eating anything else with your milkshake to hinder the taste?

I agree that I bought Cookie Dough and it tasted remarkably close to another limited edition flavour I had tried. I will try other flavours and get back to you. Obviously one brand of anything will have it's trademark signature style.
